A DAY WITH THE TWINS
I love taking portraits. It's amazing how you can capture emotions on your camera. And kids? I definitely love to take their photos. Twins? That's double the fun.
We had to travel to Ilocos Sur for Alhjed and Alhrich's pre-birthday photo shoot. Aside from almost three hours bus ride, it was raining when we arrived at our destination. Problem kicked in. We have to find a place where we can do the photo ops. Sitting there, i was already thinking about indoor shoot as the only option. And here are some of the shots taken inside the house.

And then, Mr. Sun came out. We immediately went to the originally planned location for the shoot. Thanks goodness, I was able to get amazing shots of the twins. Here are some of my personal favorites.

Good Friday Sacrifice
Everybody is talking about sacrifices today. I don't wanna explain what i saw but i want you to look at this photo. Despite the huge crowd, scorching heat and walking disability, this Lola managed to bring her Apo in the park on a Good Friday.

my new watermark
I have been worrying about my watermark since the day i decided to concentrate on my photography. many websites offer you sample watermarks but definitely you want to create you own. This is simply because you want it to have your personal touch and that will give you joy and pride. Of course, many photo editing software can generate watermarks but believe me, you would still want something to call your own. And without further adieu, here is my new watermark.

Sunday walk
Last Sunday, February 5, 2012, together with fellow members of the Baguio Photographers Club, we went out for a walk at Camp John Hay Eco-trail. Here are some of the pictures i captured.
"FLOWER POWER". I was mesmerized by these flowers. One is blooming and the other one is getting ready to bloom. 1/100s at f7.1, ISO 800 at 200mm (Sigma 70-200mm)
"CURLY FERN". 1/200s at f8, ISO 400 at 200mm (Sigma 70-200mm)
"I WAS A PINE TREE". This is what's left of a pine tree. i just love the colors. 1/320s at f4, ISO 400 at 160mm (Sigma 70-200mm)
"FOOT BRIDGE". A wooden foot bridge in the middle of the forest. 1/40s at f9, ISO 400 at 70mm (Sigma 70-200mm). Yes, I know shutter speed is too low and against the rule of thumb :)
